Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-08-31. This policy describes the RSS-to-Telegram service launching first.
What we process
- Your Stripe customer ID, subscription status, billing email, and relevant subscription dates.
- Your Telegram destination identifier and the public RSS or Atom feed URLs you choose.
- The latest processed item identifiers needed to avoid duplicate deliveries.
- RSS item titles, links, and text while creating and delivering a summary.
- Limited operational records such as processed-event identifiers, timestamps, and failure counts needed for reliability and security.
What we do not collect
- Hookferry does not receive or store your card number or bank credentials; Stripe handles payment details.
- Hookferry does not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or sell personal information.
- The application does not intentionally persist feed article bodies after processing. Cloudflare and other network providers may process ordinary connection metadata under their own terms.
Why we process it
We process account and configuration data to provide the service, validate subscription access, prevent duplicate deliveries, secure the service, respond to support requests, and meet legal obligations. Where privacy law requires a lawful basis, the primary bases are contract performance, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and legal obligations.
Providers and destinations
The first product uses Cloudflare for hosting and storage, Stripe for billing, Anthropic for summary generation, and Telegram as the customer-selected delivery destination. Details and provider links are on the Subprocessor List.
Retention
- Feed item content is processed transiently and is not intentionally retained as an article archive.
- Active configuration and subscription state are retained while needed to provide the service.
- After cancellation or termination, customer configuration is scheduled for deletion within 30 days unless a longer period is required for security, dispute, tax, or legal reasons.
- Stripe retains billing records under its own policies and legal obligations.
Your choices and requests
- Cancel your subscription through Stripe's Customer Portal.
- Use the authenticated export function on the integration service to obtain stored account configuration in a portable format.
- Request access, correction, or deletion by emailing [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
International processing
Service providers may process data in countries other than yours. Their contractual transfer terms and privacy documentation apply. Contact us before subscribing if your organization requires a specific transfer mechanism or negotiated data terms.
